We couldn't say which channel brought in last quarter's best customers.

Three areas, four statements each

Three areas that hold growth back

The same three areas the growth diagnostic starts from.

01
Measurement

You're spending, but can't see what's working.

Marketing activity is happening, but the reporting doesn't give you a clear basis for deciding what to continue, change or stop.

02
Customers

You need a sharper view of your customers.

You have a broad audience in mind, but aren't sure which customers to prioritise, how to reach them or what gives them a reason to choose you.

03
Systems

Your systems make progress harder.

Customer information sits in different places, the CRM only tells part of the story, or routine work takes too much manual effort.

AFTER THE SELF-CHECK

The growth diagnostic

Work out where to focus your marketing and what to fix first.

A fixed-fee first project to assess your market position, identify one clear growth priority and review the systems supporting your marketing.

SELF-CHECK WORDING. Edit the statements and results here and the self-check at the top of the page uses them. This block is hidden on the live page. Each statement's data-area attribute sets its area: 0 Measurement, 1 Customers, 2 Systems.

Result layout. When someone finishes, this moves into the self-check card and fills in from the matching result below.

YOUR RESULT

Start with your customers

Your clearest gap is customer focus. You know roughly who you sell to, but not yet which customers to prioritise or the real reason they choose you.

How your answers break down

Measurement Looks clear
Customers Clear gap
Systems Some gaps

What the diagnostic would focus on

  • A market read

Where you sit in your vertical today, and what you're genuinely known for.

  • One focused go-to-market recommendation

The customers worth winning, the real reason they'll buy, and where to concentrate effort.

  • A tech-stack verdict

What's working, what's holding you back, and the first thing to fix.

One thing to look at this week

Ask the people who speak to customers why your last three wins chose you. If the answers don't match, that's the place to start.

We'll discuss what you need and whether the diagnostic fits.

  1. We couldn't say which channel brought in last quarter's best customers.
  2. Our reports show activity, like clicks and opens, more clearly than they show revenue.
  3. If the budget were cut by a third tomorrow, we wouldn't be sure what to stop first.
  4. Marketing and sales count leads differently.
  5. Ask three people here who our ideal customer is and you'd get three different answers.
  6. We target by job title and sector, but couldn't say why those customers choose us.
  7. Our website talks more about what we do than the problem customers bring us in to solve.
  8. We say yes to most enquiries, even the kind that rarely become good customers.
  9. Our CRM only tells part of the story.
  10. Customer information sits in more than one place, and the places don't always agree.
  11. Routine jobs like lead follow-up or reporting are still done by hand.
  12. We pay for tools nobody fully uses.

Start with what's working

Your clearest gap is measurement. Marketing is happening, but you don't yet have a clear basis for deciding what to continue, change or stop.

Pick your five best customers from the last year and trace how each one first found you. Wherever the trail goes cold is where your reporting needs work first.

Start with your customers

Your clearest gap is customer focus. You know roughly who you sell to, but not yet which customers to prioritise or the real reason they choose you.

Ask the people who speak to customers why your last three wins chose you. If the answers don't match, that's the place to start.

Start with your systems

Your clearest gap is your systems. Customer information is spread around or routine work takes too much manual effort, which makes everything else harder to see.

List every marketing and sales tool you pay for, who uses it and what it feeds into. Anything without a clear owner is the first one to question.

It's all connected

More than one area is showing gaps, and they're probably feeding each other. When the target customer is fuzzy, reports are harder to read, and patchy systems hide what's working. Untangling that is what the diagnostic is for.

Write down the one marketing decision you'd make differently if you had clear answers. That's usually where a diagnostic starts.

You're in decent shape

Your answers don't point to a big gap in measurement, customers or systems. If you already know what needs doing and want help delivering it, we can talk about the work directly.

Write a one-paragraph brief for the project you've been putting off. That's plenty for a useful first conversation.
