CASE STUDY

Rhian’s business grew
Her website caught up

I built Rhian’s website in 2021. Since then, her business has evolved from virtual assistance into marketing and events consultancy and delivery. Her website needed to reflect that. So I refreshed the brand and rebuilt the site in two weeks.

WHAT I DID

Brand refresh and website rebuild

WORKING TOGETHER

Since 2021

TURNAROUND

Two weeks

The situation

Rhian is a marketing and events consultant based in Canterbury, Kent, with over 20 years’ experience. I built her original website in 2021, when virtual assistance was a bigger part of her business. Since then, her services and positioning have changed. But her website was still telling the old story.

What I found

The business had changed. The message hadn’t.

The existing website had served Rhian well, but it was built around an earlier version of her business. Her services had evolved, and the way she presented them needed to change too. The goal wasn’t to throw everything away. It was to keep what people recognised, make her current offer clearer and give her a website that could grow with the business.

What I did

01

Refreshed the brand

Rhian already had a recognisable identity, so there was no need to reinvent it. I updated the colours, typography and visual style to give the brand a fresher look while keeping what made it familiar.

02

Clarified the offer

Rhian’s services had changed, but her website hadn’t quite caught up. I reworked the messaging and structure to put her marketing and events expertise front and centre, making it easier for visitors to understand what she does.

03

Rebuilt the website

With the brand and messaging sorted, I redesigned and rebuilt the website around her current services. The result is a cleaner, more consistent site that works across desktop and mobile, with room for the business to keep evolving.

What changed

2 weeks

From brand refresh to a live website.

Clearer positioning

Marketing and events consultancy now take centre stage.

One consistent identity

A refreshed brand that works across the website and beyond.

Rhian now has a website that reflects the business she runs today, with clearer messaging, a refreshed identity and room to grow. And because we’d worked together before, I could build on what was already there rather than starting from scratch.

“My business had moved on, and my website hadn’t. Patrick refreshed my brand without losing what people recognise, and had the new site live in two weeks.”
